Today's Inktober sketch is of some trees. It was hard not to add color since the trees are such wonderful colors up here right now.
On our walk today it was much easier to get photos of the completed pumpkins than yesterday when you nearly had to wait on line to take a photo. Here are some of them.

This one below is the one that I sketched yesterday and the woman was putting in the eyeball. It changed a lot. |

Since there were no events related to the Pumpkin Festival that we wanted to see today, we took a ride down to Bristol Mills to sketch and paint. I've always wanted to sketch at this spot in the summer, but it was too crowded.
This is where I sketched the Inktober sketch above and I also sketched my sister, Mickey.
We ended the day at one of our favorite places here...the Pemaquid Lighthouse...no sketching there today...just a few photos.
Good use of the Inktense pencils -- they have such rich hues. Hey, does that count for #inktober? ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting and sketches! This is the first time I hear of Inktense pencils, I will need to google it. By seeing your painting the colors have a wonderful intensity to them. Love the pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteMy mistake, Tina. I typed Inktense instead of Inktober. lol Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCelia, it was a typo...I did the sketch for Inktober, not with inktense pencils...although I do have those. Thank you.
LOVE this inktober drawing of trees. Just beautiful. And those pumpkins! Crazy talent with the carvers!
