Autumn at the Farmhouse

The autumn foliage here on Long Island has been gorgeous. I found this view when I was driving around the east end on Sunday. There was a field of cabbages, some dried stalks from corn, and those wonderful trees. This is 5 x 7.

  4. I told someone I could probably spend a month out there painting each house as the light hits it. Thanks Cris, Mickey and Kevin.

  7. Celia - Thank you!

Sherry - Long Island at one time was mostly potato farms out east. There are a lot of family run farms and organic farms tucked among the wineries that have sprung up. However a lot of the land has been turned into housing developments too. Thanks for your comment.
