Today I sat and sketched a bit of the decorative trim on this house in Patchogue. I'm never quite sure what the curly, curvy decorations look like exactly but I like the cut-out designs.
Very nice Joan. I think that older houses/buildings are so much more interesting than new ones and you are lucky to have so many examples in your area.
Nice details! Gable and dormer decorations are nice to look at and sketch.

DeleteWell done! There are many historic homes in Bastrop, but I rarely go out just to sketch. I should do more of that.
