Corey Beach

Last week I sketched at Corey Beach in Blue Point. This is the concession area at the beach, with some of the oceanfront homes behind it.

  1. Lovely work Joan! Particularly love the colour and form you have in your trees! Great work in previous posts too - I love seeing the" throw down". It makes me want to come over there and join you! Maybe I should set up a Perth chapter of Urban Sketchers - I don't think there is one as yet.
I hope you are enjoying the planning stage of your trip to Italy!

    1. Thanks! You need to get a Perth chapter started..or come visit us. Our trip is all planned...part cruise and then an apartment in Lake Como.

    2. Ooh, your trip sounds divine! A friend of mine recently stayed at Lake Como and loved every bit of it. She didn't spot George Clooney though!!

  3. I love this Joan. Your colors and the scene you've captured are wonderful. I like how you painted this as a vignette.

  4. Joan love the format you used in this one...the longer landscape gives it a wonderful space. Also loved the touches of red that carries you in and around - just beautiful. Hope you are having a great day.

The portrait of Ali is very nice.
