Setauket Water View

Showers were forecast for yesterday but it was still fairly clear early in the day so I ventured up to Setauket by the water. I figured I could always sit in the car and paint if it was too nasty out. But I did get to sit out for a while...of course by the time I was almost finished I was freezing. Where did summer go? This is 5 x 7.

  3. I know Joan it is truly moving closer to winter. Your painting makes me think of a lake I visit and enjoy. It too has rocks along the bank. I have done some sketches there. Hope you have warmed up a bit - happy painting my friend.

  4. Gorgeous work Joan especially the grasses at the front. You are a braver lady than I still venturing out to paint in all weathers. :-)
