We have been having some really damp, gloomy days which have not been very inspiring to paint en plein air. I did get out yesterday to paint a local farmstand from the car. It was drizzling while I painted.
As another testament to my "oddness," I have to say that I never tire of gray, rainy days. I was so happy living in WA for that very reason. At any rate, this is another lovely bit of work, Joan. I've been noticing the details more and more in painting and finding myself just awed by drawing abilities that I see in them.
At least you managed a lovely painting, even though you were in the car...that's still en plein air right?
ReplyDeleteWonderful painting, Joan!! very nice scene and from a car!! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteJoan what a great sketch. Good for you - painting even in the rain. Didn't dampen your art. Thanks for sharing.
