Gardens in Athens

My stister, Mickey, and I ventured out in the heat in Athens, GA to paint in the garden area of the welcome center across the street from our hotel. It started out overcast and was bearable, but when the sun came out it was much too hot.

  1. I do feel for you all in that heat - hard to imagine when the weather is so bad here! Love your greens

  4. Joan, this is just so pretty! I get a sense of Mayberry (I'm a weirdo, I know it) and I love that small hometown feel with the slightly older homes all well maintained with gorgeous yards.

  6. You did a good job on this one. It was just entirely too hot for me to concentrate.
