Flowers in the Can

Yesterday was a cool, overcast day on Long Island. I headed over to my friend, Susan's house. She has such a wonderful garden with interesting views and corners, and some very different planters filled with flowers. I just love this old, peeling watering can that she filled with flowers.
This is about 5 x 5.

I don't know what I will paint today since it is pouring here. I'll have to look for an indoor view.

Ann - Thanks. Yes, she is inventive.

Vicki - Thanks. I want one too.

Debbie - Thank you. I shaded the rock edges with hatching and dots of ink, but then I used watercolors.

    Laura - Thanks so much!

Sherry - Thanks. She's moved the watering can several times, but I liked it on the flagstones.
