Lighthouse and Gull

This was sketched down at the Sandspit Marina in Patchogue. Wasn't it nice of the gull to pose with the lighthouse nearby? This is another sketch in the Arteza sketchbook for the SBAA project.

Seashells and Seagull

Both of these sketches are related to the beach. I have a collection of shells that I've gathered from many beaches that I've been to. The seagull was one of many sitting in the parking lot at the beach the other day. Hope they both make you smile.

By the Water

You know I get down by the water as often as I can. Today I went to Hecksher State Park. The clouds above the beach grasses and the trees were so interesting.

The other day I was down by the bay in Sayville. The parking lot had a lot of cars and gulls. They are always fun to sketch.

Sometimes the gulls even stay still for a little while...but don't count on it. lol

Seagull

Yesterday my sister-in-law stayed at the rehab facility while I went out for a while. I bought lunch and then took it down to the bay in East Islip. There were a few seagulls parked on top of the posts and this one stayed long enough for me to sketch him. This will be part of the art postcard project.
