Garden at the Suffolk County Farm

My plein air group met at the Suffolk County Farm recently. They did a little bit of work on the grounds since I was there last. They had little garden areas set up mostly for the kids that come there. I liked the gate and the flowers.

Sayville Entry

This is a gate entry to a property in Sayville that I've passed many times. One of the Creative Spark Scavenger Hunt items was a gate and another was ironwork. I think this sketch captured both.

Greenery Over the Gate

Every once in a while I come across gardens and greenery in Venice. It is a nice contrast to the stone and plaster.

Garden Gate

This scene has attracted me before. I love the white gate calling you to the garden. This is a corner house off Broadway Ave in Sayville.
