Ah...Rome...the Eternal City. #VirtualSketch was wandering the city sketching yesterday.
I was in Rome a few years ago and this scene looked so familiar I knew I had to do it. This is the view from Via di San Pietro.
#VirtualSketch will be stopping in less than a week. It is assumed that most people are able to get out IRL to do some sort of urban sketching. This has made it easy for me to get some sketches done in the evening when things are usually quiet here. I will miss that, so I guess I'll have to find new locations on my own. lol Or maybe I'll go back and do some of the ones I missed.
Joan, this is lovely. I know #VirtualSketch will be missed by many for the convenience of it. However, I know you will easily find a good substitute for it. Hope all is well with you and Jerry.

Deletethis has to be my "new favorite". Virtual sketches are wonderful especially for you since you've visited these places so its so familiar which makes it better. I love the tunnel and shadows.....
