This is my finale for #30x30DirectWatercolor. It was done from a photo I took in Venice last year in one of those "Italian" coffee shops where there is a display of loads of yummy pastries and cookies but then no place to sit. Italians usually have their expresso standing up at a very narrow counter. That does not make for comfortable sketching in my opinion. I loved the colorful cup and saucer...almost as much as I loved my Cafe Americano and the pastry.
Joan lovely piece of work. That cup especially looks like something I would love to drink from. Of course the pastry would be a must too. Wonderful finish to your challenge. Take care.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful piece to end your challenge. You know I like the cup and saucer and would like the pastry and coffee, too. The coffee places in Chile were like that as well, guess they modeled them after Europe. Now I have to go make me and expresso .. not as good as from a coffee place, but will have to do….
