It is hard to keep track of all the sketching events I'm doing. Both of these were done for the #30x30DirectWatercolor Challenge. The bottom one was done down by the bay in Sayville yesterday. I scooted out for a while as Jerry was napping. I don't like leaving him for too long, but when he naps it is usually for at least 2 hours.
Joan what wonderful sketches. I have been inspired by you and am also doing some direct watercolours. I enjoy the spontaneity of just going right in with the brush. Glad to read that you are getting out and about. Sayville must be close by for you. Your variety of sketches from there makes me want to visit this special spot. ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debbie. Luckily Sayville is only about 10 minutes from me and has a variety of interesting spots with water, boats, people and a great little downtown area. My town doesn't really have a town...just little strip malls with stores. Have a great week.
