This this was painted last week in my friend, Susan’s garden. She is so good at sharing her flowers with me.
I have been trying to post to my blog lately using my iPad rather than my computer. I will be traveling starting next week and my computer isn't coming with me. I tried a few test posts only to find out that whatever program I had that allowed me to post to blogspot.com from my iPad no longer existed and it wouldn't work. So I researched and it seems that if I use Chrome rather than Safari to post it works. It isn't quite as easy as it was before, but at least it seems to be working. (This part I'm typing on my computer.) Maybe if I practice a few times I'll remember how to do it when I am in...
Stay tuned next week and maybe you'll find out where I am going.
Nice painting! Been looking at that blogpost.com issue, too. Can compose but can't attach pics from my iPhone. In lieu of a desktop, I intend to just use a portable device with a bigger screen than my aging 5S. Curious to see where you paint next week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mel. It is so annoying when they change something that was working so well before. I have to use Chrome's desktop version. Who knew it would have a desktop version???
DeleteThis is truly lovely, Joan; I'm especially impressed with the depth provided by the shading in the down-facing centers. I love daffodils, so appreciate your work even more! I also enjoyed scrolling down to visit some of your other recent posts. What a great story about your group's still life--greatly enhanced by your contributions to the composition. Your painting captured the vibrant tone and color contrasts beautifully.

DeleteMary, it is so nice to have you visit again. Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I enjoyed popping over and seeing what you were up to lately.
DeleteLovely daffies! They are all gone here, and we've moved on to tulips! I think I know where you're going. . . I won't tell! ;-) Looking forward to seeing your adventures.

Thanks. I don't know if I will get to see any tulips before I go. I looked carefully today to see if there were any pink trees...any moment now!
DeleteThe flowers are so nice to see. My ground is still frozen so no flowers yet for me - sigh. I am glad you figured out a way to blog from the IPAd but isn't it frustrating that they don't all work the same way - too many things to remember - lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Val. You would think that since I have all Apple products they would work the same way...but no. I haven't figured out if I can get the blog to work on my iPhone. Don't know if I have the time to work on that. lol
DeleteJoan wonderful rendition of those lovely daffs. I sure hope you have a great trip. Will be looking forward to seeing your travels. Hugs!
