Last weekend I joined the NYC Urban Sketchers down near Cooper Union. When we got to the city it was drizzling so a few of us squashed ourselves under an overhang across from the building to sketch it. Those windows were a nightmare! lol
I am impressed with how well you got the arc of the street light and traffic light across all those windows. Between the windows and the safety barriers, I consider you to have the patience of a saint!
My first thought was the windows-lol! You did a fantastic job, not an easy subject.
ReplyDeleteOh my Joan I so admire you for tackling such a building. Great job too. Hope you had a good weekend. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I stay far away from buildings and windows... you have done a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing looks daunting Joan with the construction zone and the windows. Well done on a difficult subject in a difficult situation!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Celia! It was challenging. lol
ReplyDeleteDebbie, thanks so much.
Sheila, thanks. I like sketching buildings but need to learn how to simplify when it comes to windows. lol
Val, thank you!
Julie, I started with what was in front and worked my way back. I am patient. lol
I like this so much, Joan. The complementary orange and blue make the scene pop! Great composition, too!
