This was done the other day at Smith Point Park. They have a beautiful garden area there that is part of the TWA Flight 200 memorial. I did some of the flowering shrubs with the dunes in the background. This was a double page in my small moleskin.
What a wonderful work Joan -- I don't know this place at all ..!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully painted, Joan. I've never been to Smith Point Park.
ReplyDeleteLove that you can see a bit of water in the distance too. Gorgeous scene, Joan, and well painted.
ReplyDeleteLin - Thanks. It is at the eastern end of Fire Island and can be accessed by the William Floyd Parkway.
ReplyDeleteHilda - It is a nice spot. Thanks.
Sherry - Thanks for being such a great cheerleader!
Love so much about this one Joan! I especially like the long rectangular shape of the paper. It fits the work to a T!
