Smith Point Park

I was busy for most of the early part of the day doing some cleaning that has been waiting to be done since Jerry got sick. But his afternoon I took a ride down to the ocean. I usually visit the ocean beach all year long, but haven't been down there yet this year. It was windy so I sat in my mobile studio and did a small painting of the ocean and the dunes at Smith Point Park.

  1. This is sweet. Good for you on getting out and about. The cleaning part isn’t fun but maybe a way to release tension! We have Honeybee Maids every 3 weeks. We eat out a lot so if we stay home for a dinner or two the maid service is paid for. I would hate to give it up now.

    1. Thanks. I've thought about getting someone to come in on occasion but Jerry doesn't like someone coming in the house. But now I'm going to be doing even more of the cleaning, so it may be a thought.

    1. Thank you, Hilda. I am still not allowed to visit. It seems to be happening all over now. I hope it doesn't last too long. How did your surgery go?

  4. A nicely done painting Joan; I am sure it gave you a boost to get out and sketch a bit.
