People and Drinks

At the end of our sketching day at the Frick we went to a restaurant for our "show and tell." I did manage to sketch some of the other sketchers that were at the table next to me.

I'm not one to do still life paintings very often, but we had another snow day and I was indoors for the day. I use a French press for my coffee every morning so I used that and a few accessories to go with it.

  1. I know the still life feeling. . . sigh! But here it's rain instead of snow!

  3. Wine time with artist friends is always good! Love the still life, they are good for the eye since you are painting from life. I also like the coffee maker!

  4. I am with you on the still life paintings - almost never do them either. I always shake my head when I see your people sketches at how you can do them so well when people never stay still. I tried again recently and just blew it - lol.
