30 Paintings in 30 Days - Happy New Year

Happy New Year 2016!!!

I hope everyone made it through the celebrations for New Year's Eve. We had a nice quiet evening and I did actually manage to stay up and watch the craziness in Times Square.

Today begins my "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge along with many, many artists all over the world. Leslie Saeta hosts this challenge on her blog here: if you would like to see some of the other artwork please check out the blog. Last year it was amazing to see the amount of work that was posted on a daily basis.

I participated last year and although there were days where I really had to push myself to get a new painting done, I liked the challenge of completing so many pieces. I am working small. All my painitings are 5 x 5 inches and my theme is flowers this year.
