30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 6 - Purple Iris

Today is Day 6 of the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge. My theme is flowers and this is 5 x 5 inches. I took this photo at the Presby Iris Garden in Montclair, NJ last year. You can view the other artwork submitted for day 6 of the challenge on Leslie Saeta's blog here:


I need to keep up with the other sketches/paintings I am also doing. This was done down by the bay facing Fire Island in the distance.
