Sky Collage

As a conclusion to the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge, Leslie Saeta had the participants create a collage of their paintings. I couldn't find a way to put all 30 of my paintings into the collage without cutting off parts of the paintings, so a few are missing here.

Doing the challenge was a lot of fun, but at times I was working on the next day's post at the last minute.  I think I did realize that I liked more color in the skies than I started with on my first two paintings. The drama of the clouds and color help make the painting. I hope when I am out plein air painting I will remember that.

  1. Congratulations, Joan. Not only on the lovely paintings but on creating the collage. Brilliant... and my hats off to you.

  2. It's lovely to see all your paintings together like this. They are so good. Don't know what you used for your collage, but have you tried Picmonkey....http://www.picmonkey.com/ Perhaps that's what you used. I don't recall the limit of collage pictures it will do in one go.

  4. Julie - Thanks. I think creating the collage was harder than the 30 paintings. lol

Ann, thanks. I did use pic monkey but the limit is 25 pictures if you don't want them cropped to odd sizes. I think I was able to do 26 out of 30.

    Thanks, Maggie!
