Maine really has such interesting subjects. On my way home I stopped in Cape Porpoise which is near Kennebunkport, Maine. This is the scene I found. This is 8 x 10.
Hi Joan. Seeing Maine through your eyes and your lovely paintings reminds me of my Nova Scotia holiday. The scenery is very similar. Thanks for sharing your journey and bring back my holiday memories especially with your fabulous previous lighthouse painting. Safe journey home.
Every time I see structures in New England, and especially Maine, I find myself wishing I could live in one of them. This is no different. All the fishing stuff would have to go and it would be light, breezy, and have a window to the sea so I could dream every day. Beautiful work, as always, Joan.
This is beautifully painted, Joan. I see so many wonderful details. My eyes take me all over! Excellent piece.
