Tea Time

The Patchogue Sketch Club meets at the Patchogue/Medford Library at this time of year and we have a theme. Can you guess our theme? Yes...tea time. Everything in this sketch is something I brought in except for the teacup on the top right. That is one of many teacups that belong to my friend, Pat, and she shared it with me. I love sketching her teacups and teapots.

Tea Party I

The NYC Urban Sketcher's theme for the week is a tea party. We can work from life or photos, or internet information. Rather than fancy teacups I tend to drink tea out of a large mug, sometimes using a teabag or sometimes an infuser. Mixed Berry Zinger has a nice taste.

Teacup

The Patchogue Sketch Club met at the Pat/Med Library tonight to sketch tea related items. Everyone brought in all kinds of interesting teapots, cups, tins, bags, etc. It was difficult to decide what to sketch, but my friend, Pat, has a collection of wonderful teacups and brought a few. I grabbed this one right away.

We had a good turnout last night. I think there ended up being about 20 of us there. The Patchogue/Medford Library is so supportive. They provide coffee and cookies for us every time we meet there.
