The Patchogue Sketch Club meets at the Patchogue/Medford Library at this time of year and we have a theme. Can you guess our theme? Yes...tea time. Everything in this sketch is something I brought in except for the teacup on the top right. That is one of many teacups that belong to my friend, Pat, and she shared it with me. I love sketching her teacups and teapots.

One Week 100 People - Day 3
I was in Patchogue to drop off paintings for a show, so I stopped at the public library to sketch some people. All of the women in this sketch and one of the men were part of a team of young nursing students who were offering free blood pressure tests to people passing through. I sketched them while they were still getting set up.

Autumn Still Life
Our Wed night sketch group met at the Patchogue/Medford Library. We had a mini reception there because we had a collection of our sketchbooks on display this month in their display case. Our theme for the night was gourds and fabric. We had assorted kinds of squash, pumpkins, leaves, and the fabric in my sketch was a napkin with a design from Provence. It was a fun night.
