The Shed

 Right along Main Street in West Sayville is The Shed, a restaurant in West Sayville with a large oudoor seating area. The umbrellas over the picnic tables give a peaceful feel to the place.

The Shed

 This branch of "The Shed" is located in Sayville along Main Street. I always look and check if there are people sitting outside when I pass. It is a nice spot, although it must be tough for the wait staff who have to bring everything out from the interior of the restaurant to the tables outside...and the ground slopes. I am one of those people who prefer to sit in an actual chair with a back than at a picnic table.

 I've been working on a lot of pages for the sketchbook project. This is a sketch of the outside of The Shed, a restaurant in West Sayville. It is a hilly place for table service but it seems to work. I always feel sorry for the wait staff that has to carry food outdoors.

The Shed

 I think I am slowly sketching all the businesses near me. This is a restaurant in Sayville called The Shed. I ate there once before Covid and sat inside. Now when I pass there are usually people seated at the picnic tables outside. The day I sketched this it seemed funny to see these ladies all bundled up in winter jackets and hats, sitting next to an outdoor heater, but under an umbrella. I hope they were warm enough. I don't think I would be comfortable sitting outside like that. I like to be comfortable.
