Clouds Over Land's End Marina

I like sketching at the Land's End Marina in Sayville because the view seems to go on forever. We have been having some wild clouds in the sky lately so I thought it was a nice combination. 

Waves at the Jetty

 We've had some cold, windy days lately. I doesn't matter if you are at the ocean or the bay, that wind makes waves. This was sketched at Land's End by the jetty on the Great South Bay in Sayville while I was safe from in my mobile studio.

Land's End Dock

This is a dock by the marina at Land's End, a catering and motel in Sayville. Most people come to park and watch the view in the other direction over the Great South Bay, but I find this view more interesting to sketch.

Iced In

Due to the extreme cold that has lasted so long many of the local marinas are all iced in. Boats like the one at the Land's End Marina in Sayville won't be going anywhere for a while since they are iced in.
