On Thursday I had plans to meet 3 friends for lunch in Garden City. I left a little early hoping to find something to sketch before we met. I knew it would be impossible to get a sketch done later in the day. I drove over to a local park there and found this great tree...and some snow was still on the ground.
The tree looks like some of our Oaks...leaves still hanging on even though winter has arrived. Well not so much this week...who would not have known after much snow, wind and icy temperatures we would be in the 50's and not a lick of snow to be found on this Christmas Eve! Pray Joan you and hubby have a beautiful Christmas and the best of New Years. Hugs!
