There is a great view of the Robert Moses Bridge from one of the parking lots at Captree State Park.
You can sometimes see the fishing boats out in the bay from that spot too. It is a great place to go for some peace and quiet. It was a sunny, somewhat warm day and I just pulled my chair out of the trunk and sat near it while I painted.
