We had a rainy day yesterday but I wanted to paint something outdoors. I went exploring in Islip which had some interesting houses. This is 7 x 7 in my Stillman & Birn journal.
Another favorite, Joan. This is truly gorgeous and I find myself studying it to try to learn how you make a piece look so detailed without ruining it (as I tend to do).
Lovely old house. You did another great job with it. BTW, I have to say that I hate blogger's new "prove you're not a robot" by having me type in two different words, one of which I can never read. Hmmm, maybe I really am a robot.
Lovely job on this lovely old house. Sorry I haven't been able to visit, sick and busy. We will be at the Nesconset Library from 12 to 2 today. It would be great to see you.

ReplyDeleteWhat a stately old home, Joan -- beautifully captured in your hand!!!! Ditto the comments above!!! It rained here too! Glad for the water!
