Old Dock View

This is a quick, small painting done on a half page in my Stillman and Birn journal. It was painted near Old Dock in Deer Park.

    I really love the earthy and subdued palette. I think Nancy's use of the word "softness" is spot on. The whole piece sings of simple and pleasant times.
