Hidden Oak Cafe

Sunday was brutally cold here on Long Island but my friend, Susan, and I wanted to paint. We headed over to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale and sat in the cafe to paint. We expected it to be somewhat empty, but anyone that came to the park came into the cafe to warm up.

  1. This is wonderful! I love browsing your site, Joan. You are doing such beautiful paintings!! Have a great day!

  2. Joan, I love this, your work is great. I'm not having problems with my blog, now that I switched to Mozilla. It seems the trouble was with Internet Explorer.

    Talk soon,

  3. Now that is one gorgeous cafe!! Love it, Joan!

  4. Beth - Thanks so much!!

Joan - Thanks! I will visit even if I can't post.

Sherry - It was a different subject for me. lol Thanks.

  5. Now that my computer is fixed, I thought I would see if I was able to make comments on your blog. It looks like this might actually work.

I love the cafe painting, and enjoyed hearing about your day of painting there. Wish I could join you on some of these outings.

  6. Oh does this look like a place I'd love to be in a snowstorm!!! So warm!!! GREAT JOB!
