I found this interesting building which is part of the Seatuck Environmental Center in Islip. It looks like it belongs in another world. This is 5 x 7.
Lin - Thanks. First it was the summer home of some wealthy woman and she willed it to the Audibon Society. They used it for a while and then abandoned it. It was vandalized and then Suffolk County took it over and restored it.
Rose - Thanks so much! I'll happily come down and paint palm trees with you.
Joan - Thanks! I saw that we were hanging together.
Sherry - It is a pretty place and gorgeous on the inside. Thanks.
It does! What a find! I wonder what that building was before the EE Center? Awesome capture, Joan!
ReplyDeleteJoan, great job. I have never seen this place. Very interesting. Your work looks great in Sayville.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon,
