I bought a small bunch of sunflowers the other day. I figured it would give me something different to sketch. Because it is a small bunch I had to find a small vase or container to put them in. What I ended up using was a glass pitcher that I've used for milk. They seemed lost in anything else. This was done directly in watercolor.
Joan this is just lovely. Sunflowers always make me smile. Your pitcher worked perfectly as a container. Glad to read Jerry is getting stronger. You have been so admirable through all you have gone through this year. I keep "looking up" for you. Hugs!

DeleteThis is beautifully painted Joan. Long Island has a few sunflower farms that I was PLANNING to visit this year....oh well... next year....💕
