Dahlia Garden

Last Tuesday my plein air group went to the dahlia garden at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale. It was overwhelming and hard to narrow down to focus on just a few flowers.

    This is a lovely painting and I like how you get the perspective with the bird houses in the background.

    The focus you chose is just perfect and oh so beautiful, Joan. Those birdhouses lend so much interest to this piece too. Awesome job, as always.
