I made a visit to the grounds around the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville recently. It always is a tempting spot for a sketch.
The shapes and contrasts are so well done. My eye is pulled right its. Love the sky, too.
Thank you! I may do a similar version of this for the fundraiser they are having again this year. This time instead of painting on shingles, we are painting on round slices from the mast of an old boat they are restoring.
