Today my plein air group (PALS) went to the Hummingbird Sanctuary in Baiting Hollow. We did see hummingbirds but they are impossible to paint from life because they are so tiny and quick. Instead I focused on some of the flowers that attract the hummingbirds at this peaceful place on a bluff along Long Island Sound.
This is gorgeous Joan. I am sad because our little hummingbirds have left for the season. Glad though to know you are still enjoying them. Have a great day. Hugs!
