On Wednesday my PALS plein air group went to Shelter Island to paint. Most of us had never been there before so we spent a while checking out spots before deciding to paint at Dering Harbor. I couldn't decide between the houses or the sailboat, so I did both. This is 5 x 7.
Glad you put the sailboat in..I love the color of it..makes a beautiful painting!! I've never been to Shelter Island..I've heard it has wonderful restaurants...

ReplyDeleteThe type of view that has always had me longing to live up in Maine along the coast. A gorgeous spot you chose, Joan, and you painted it beautifully. Are you in a boat yourself or is this a small inlet area and you are on the grass?
