I am a bit behind posting this sketch done last Wednesday night at the West Sayville Boat Basin. That is where the Patchogue Sketch Club met. This is 5 x 8.
Joan!!! HONEY I don't know which I love most of these last three! They are all so incredibly well done that I am out of words to describe their beauty! the water in this one is out of this world, the yellow field is so beautiful it makes me swoon, and the shop is utterly delightful!!! GRAND GLORIOUS work, Joan!! BRAVA! BRAVA! BRAVA~!
I love this one, Joan. Great job on the water.! I went to see the Tall ships in Greenport last week! It would have been a wonderful place for you to paint.

ReplyDeleteJoan, this water is stunningly painted. Every time I try to paint water, I muck up the painting. I'm going to have re-visit before I attempt it again.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lin!!!
ReplyDeleteHilda - I should have headed out there. Thanks.
Sherry - Thanks! Re-visit anytime!
