I haven't been over to the Swan Preserve in Patchogue for a while. When I pulled in there was a car with this boat on top and the driver was sitting at the picnic table having lunch. I started with the car and boat just in case he left. When I saw him get up from the table I was a little worried but he went off for a walk. I was able to finish most of the sketch before he came back and drove away...just in case I had a photo of it on my phone.
You finished the sketch! It makes me smile.

ReplyDeleteVal, thanks. There is a small creek/river that flows through the preserve and probably ends up at the bay. We have a lot of spots like that. And there is a boat launch in the preserve too.
DeleteA good strategy that worked well! And that he later went for a walk was a nice bonus for an avid sketcher like you :-)
