Today for my Day 9 painting for "30 Paintings in 30 Days" I went up to Port Jefferson and painted one of the many charming homes. Again this was done with gouache.

My Wednesday night sketch group spent last week and this week learning to make sketchbooks. I made one that is 6 x 6 with Fabriano Artistico paper inside.
Your house painting looks like it is Spring in your area - those sure seem the colour of blossoms - lol! I like your sketch book - super cover!

Oh I love the colors you used in this one friend. Those violet shadows really make it sing. Your books looks super too. I am sure it will be well used.
