Paint Out at the Fire Island Lighthouse

On Saturday one of the art groups I belong to, the Wet Paints Studio Group, had a paint out at the Fire Island Lighthouse. The staff was so gracious to us, providing soda and water, and coming out to check on us in our various painting spots on the property. There were 30 artists from Wet Paints who had signed up for the day. I didn't get to see everyone painting, but did get to see some of my frineds as they worked. All the artwork created will be on display in the lightkeeper's cottage for two weeks. If you have a chance, stop in to see it. My thanks to Carol Corbett for organizing the event. Here are a few photos from the day and my two paintings.
