Uphill in Port Jeff

I painted this the other day in Port Jefferson. I love that on the north shore of Long Island when you are near the water there are often hills. I like looking up at this corner and seeing the other houses. This painting is 5 x 7. For some reason I can't get a good picture of this. It keeps showing much more yellow than it it.

  1. I love the way you have captured the perspective. Such a terrific picture! You could adjust the colour and light by opening the picture in Picasa or Microsoft office.

  3. What a beautiful little neighborhood! I love this one alot, Joan. While not stylistically like Rockwell's work, it is the same sense I get from it.
