Dot

I almost forgot to post this week's portrait from my SBAA group. This is Dot, the mother-in-law of one of the artists I paint with. I think I made her look a bit younger than she really is, but I don't think she minded at all. This is about 5 x 7.

  1. Dot is beautifully painted! Sometimes, when I paint a portrait, I make the person look older!! This is not good!! I love your previous painting that you took in Middletown, NY. Excellent piece!!!, Joan.

  3. Hilda - Thanks so much. I like the change of scenery up there. I tend to make children look older and older people look younger in portraits.

Sherry - Thanks. Maybe yours will grow in that way.
