I loved the doorways side by side and the direction sign for the Tintoretto School. Maybe I should have stopped there too. lol

Stony Brook Marsh & Boat Yard
Yes, I still have paintings of Venice to post, but I thought I would give your eyes a break. Both of these were painted in plein air on Saturday at Stony Brook Harbor.

Interesting Spots
There is an interesting spot to paint around every corner in Venice.
I don't know if the actual Venetians love the crumbling walls as much as I do, but I can't get enough of them.

Venetian Doorways
Most of the paintings that I did on my trip to Venice are 4 x 6 or 5 x 7. I did manage to do a few that were 8 x 10 like these two doorways. I love the fact that every entrance off the canals is different.

Realto Bridge and Restaurants
The Realto Bridge was a bit daunting to paint, but I gave it a shot.
There are so many colorful outdoor restaurants in Venice.

We are finally home from our trip to Venice, and I can upload photos of my paintings again. Yeah! The painting above is another section of the restaurant where the bartended gave me prosecco when I finished the first view. Sadly there was no prosecco this day.
The painting above is of an archway near the Realto Market looking toward the Grand Canal. I always loved the shadows there in the morning.
