The food at the hospital for dinner and lunch was delicious. Breakfast...not so good...just regular eggs and a roll. I did sketch the tray from the dinner the first night...beef fillet (juicy, rare, and tasty) just the way I like it. No complaints about that.
Yesterday the hospital called to tell me that I left my sketchbook in my room. They held on to it until my SIL drove over there today to pick it up.
Joan so glad to read that you are doing well with your hip replacement. I am sure glad they found your sketchbook and returned it. Wow your dedication to sketching in the midst of being in the hospital is amazing. What a wonderful record of the happenings of your life...good or more challenging. Will be "looking up" for you this week. Hugs!

DeleteWhat a warrior you are - nothing stops you!. I remember doing some pen and ink sketching when I was in the hospital many years ago. The medication gave me tremors so all I could sketch were things with scribble lines - lol
ReplyDeleteLOL I was just afraid I would get black ink all over the white sheets and blanket. I was so tucked into the bed there wasn't room to pull the supplies out. I'm glad I got to sketch and got my sketchbook back too.
